Join the Asiyah community for a musical Tashlich by the Charles. Long a popular folk tradition—which the rabbis did their best to suppress, and later to tame—Tashlich is an opportunity to embody the change we want to be in our lives and our world by “tossing away” the negative patterns and energies we have accumulated over the past year. We’ll toss found matter into the river, sing songs, and drum in our higher selves. All ages are welcome!
North Point Park is across the road from the Museum of Science and very bike friendly. Street parking is plentiful and the Lechmere and Science Park T stops are close by. There's a play area for the kids, lots of sun and shade, and lots of riverfront.
What to bring: Your yearning and repentance. And maybe a light snack and a musical instrument.
