This Erev (first night of) Rosh Hashana, get ready to connect with the energy of new beginnings in a musical, soulful, chant-based service with the Asiyah community. Whether you've never been to a Rosh Hashana service or you've been doing it all your life, there's something here for you—please join us! Register here.
Ritual: Erev Rosh Hashana Experience starts promptly at 6 p.m. Come as you are or come festive! We’ll have apples and honey and be on our way to dinner by 8 p.m.
We believe that communal spiritual uplift should be available to all, so there is no charge for our services, but registration is required.
If you’re able to make a donation to Asiyah, every little bit helps!
Dinner: We are hosting intimate communal dinners, so join us! Sign-ups for attending and hosting can be found at registration.
If you sign up to be hosted for a delicious vegetarian meal, please make a donation of at least $10 (via the registration page) to help us cover food costs. We will do the matching and provide a forum for communicating food restrictions.
If you sign up to host a meal, you will be compensated for your cooking or otherwise providing a delicious vegetarian meal. More details once you sign up and have been selected. In order to sign up as a host, you need to answer “yes” to the question about being hosted, and then you’ll see the option to be a host.
Accessibility: The Kesher space is ADA accessible, with elevator and an accessible bathroom. There are also gender-neutral bathrooms in the space.
Location: The Kesher Nevatim space is right on the Cambridge/Somerville line, less than a 15-minute walk from Porter Sq. and about 25 minutes from Harvard Sq. There's also plenty of parking. (The best approach is through Bleachery Court. Drive to the back right corner of the parking lot.) Look for the "Kesher" sign above the white door.
We look forward to seeing you!
