After Tishrei, a month full of holidays covering a range of emotional/spiritual ground—from deep personal reflection and practicing forgiveness during Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur to joyful feasts and raucous dancing during Sukkot and Simchat Torah—we might be ready for a breather.
Enter Cheshvan, the only month in the Jewish year with no holidays. Yep, it’s time to get back to the work of day-to-day living. How do you want to live out this month? Join us as we welcome in Cheshvan: we’ll mark the transition with ritual and song, shared stories, and creativity and set out a vision for ourselves.
RSVP to help us know the headcount. The kettle will be on, so feel free to bring some tea or a snack to share.
Suggested donation: $5-10 (here or in person). No charge for Asiyah co-creators.
New Moon Circle is Asiyah’s intergenerational Rosh Chodesh circle for those who identify as female or nonbinary.
