In the world as it is, how can grow roots to rise up together? On the one-year anniversary of Asiyah being a thing, we are hosting a conversation about what it means to belong.
This is an opportunity for folks to not only talk and deepen the connections that have started at Shabbat potlucks and other events, but also to explore the sticky questions that come with community formation. Register now!
Together, we will:
hear from co-founders Rabbi David and Amberly, as well as other members of Asiyah’s Cultivation Crew
build on last year’s Village Gathering by exploring the theme of belonging and what it means to “belong”
deepen our sense of "villaging"—building community—together
use the World Cafe model to jump into this mutually supported visioning
sing at least one niggun (wordless song! It's easy!)
eat delicious snacks
make any hidden asks (money, commitment)
sit in one spot for too long
do other boring stuff
The Village Gathering is your opportunity to make your voice heard and help shape the path of Asiyah, all while getting to know other fabulous people. Please join us—everyone has valuable insights to share that can guide our villaging process!
If you’re interested in helping the villaging committee, please let us know!
