In our second Kabbalat Shabbat pop-up of the summer, we’ll gather again at the Green Room, this time for a kirtan-style Friday-night prayer service led by Rabbi David.
As usual, we’ll follow the service with a community vegetarian potluck dinner, followed by after-meal blessings and singing.
Interested in playing a musical instrument for this service? Please be in touch! Also, anyone who’s interesting in getting a preview and practice what we’ll be singing, can join our rehearsal on Thursday.
Space is limited—please let us know if you plan to attend.
Please bring a veggie dish to share, with a label describing the dish's ingredients. If you bring cheese, please make sure it uses vegetarian rennet. We'll provide challah and kiddush wine/juice. Feel free to bring additional beverages.
There will be a table for hechshered kosher food, so if you're bringing prepared food, please consider buying kosher products. If you are able, please also bring any necessary serving utensils.
The Green Room is in Union Square, accessible by several bus lines and a 25-minute walk from Harvard, Porter, or Central Square. Street parking only.
The Green Room is on the ground floor. Bathroom is gender neutral but not ADA compliant. Please contact Amberly with specific questions/concerns.
